Pricing — how Appealant's contingency fee works
Appealant works on contingency. There is $0 upfront and no monthly retainer: we only earn when your practice actually collects on a denial we recovered.
The guarantee
You keep 100% of your first recovered dollars, because the first $500 in recovered fees is waived. If we recover nothing, you owe nothing.
The fee
- Standard appeals. 25% of the dollars actually recovered on administrative denials — the everyday timely-filing, eligibility, prior-auth, and bundling work.
- Escalated clinical appeals. A 50% fee on escalated clinical medical-necessity work, which takes deeper clinical review to win.
Fees are charged only on collected dollars from posted recoveries, never on billed amounts, and rounding always favors your practice. Federal-program claims are never billed on a percentage.
Terms
Engagements are month-to-month and invoices are net-15. You can end the engagement at any time; work already recovered is billed under the same terms.
